The San Luis Resort Spa & Conference Center, Galveston

I had a great stay at this hotel, particularly enjoying the ocean view and spaciousness of the corner king suite I booked. The cleanliness of the room and the amenities provided were impressive. However, the pool area had some drawbacks with non-guests using it, and the wristband policy was a bit annoying. Overall, a lovely getaway but with some quirks.

While the hotel featured a stunning beach view and clean rooms, I experienced long wait times for service which really affected my stay. The balcony provided a great spot to watch the pelicans, but the noise from the hallways was quite disruptive at times. Overall, the amenities were decent, but the dining and service could use significant improvements.
